Ground up restoration in 1997 to original configuration, hangared ever since this Stinson is perhaps the nicest and most original Voyager to be found. All wiring, plumbing and fixtures are either new or meticulously restored. Everything works and works well! Only radios, brakes and other necessary modifications alter it from its original factory configuration. The interior is original horsehair fabric and is in perfect condition, the paint scheme is a copy of the Stinson display model shown at the 1946 San Diego Air Show. The paint is a beautiful dark teal with white trim and the authentic, Stinson Bow and Arrow on the tail and Stinson logo on the cowl, the wing struts are polished aluminum. If you are a Stinson enthusiast you will want to see this one and if not you will be after seeing it. This aircraft was judged the “Best Stinson” at EAA Airventure in Oshkosh 2011.

This is a project aircraft. The aircraft was exported from the US with an Export Certificate of Airworthiness new in 1989. This aircraft was operated by a police department in South America. Last flown in 2001 it then served as a parts supply for other BKs in the fleet. The airframe is in good condition with no corrosion however it’s been robbed of things like a few hinges, pumps and fuel shut off valves. Most glass needs replacing.
