FOR SALE

1989 BK-117 B-1
Total Time Airframe 1083

This is a project aircraft. The aircraft was exported from the US with an Export Certificate of Airworthiness new in 1989. This aircraft was operated by a police department in South America. Last flown in 2001 it then served as a parts supply for other BKs in the fleet. The airframe is in good condition with no corrosion however it’s been robbed of things like a few hinges, pumps and fuel shut off valves. Most glass needs replacing. There are no main or tail rotor blades, no hydraulic pack and many instruments have been removed. The avionics would need upgrading. The drive train is complete with the main

transmission, drive shafts, intermediate and 90 degree gear boxes and the main and tail rotor hubs. These items are original and have records. One LTS 101-750 B-1 is installed in the aircraft and has the log book with a total time of 3482.1 hours on it. The other engine is not installed and has no log book. A sand filter kit is installed. This is might be a good option to replace a high time airframe. This BK is being sold “as is where is” There are facilities and personnel to pack and ship.

We are looking for offers on the aircraft.
